Spectular and Amazing.....The Highlands nightclub, located in the brand new 4.5 billion dollar Hollywood & Highlands complex is where the stars meet the sky and you can yourself be high up on the roof top in the clouds beginning Jan. 27th.  Electra Entertainment is proud to introduce Babylon on January 27th with Los Angeles favorite DJ Bryan Pfeifer and Superstar Remix Artist and World Renowned DJ Barry Harris (AKA Thunderpuss 2000).  This state of the art facility is like nothing Los Angeles or Hollywood has seen and is incredible.

This is definitely the nightclub LA has been waiting for - watch out NY!! From the moment you walk in on the marbled floors you are greeted by the hot and gay friendly staff.  Who cares if their bartenders are gay or not, because they are so damn cute!!!!  The enormous two-story 30,000 square foot facility has several outdoor patios; one patio has a larger capacity than some of the bars on Santa Monica Blvd.  It is amazing, and the view  looking off the patio is awesome.  You can see everything!!!!  It cannot be disputed anywhere that this is the biggest and most spectacular nightclub in LA, with over 14 different areas and rooms, and 4 outdoor smoking patios which all have breath-taking views of the entire city.

One Sunday night a month the club will be transformed from The Highlands to BABYLON, where it is men, men and more men.  This is the place to see and be seen, dance or watch people dance, or simply lounge in one of the many areas and chill.   There will be incredible music by some of the biggest DJ's and incredible shows for your enjoyment and entertainment.  I have been told there will only be good music.  I can't tell you how many times I have been to clubs in LA and the music was horrible.  Sometimes I felt like I should have gone out to my car
for a compilation CD to give to the DJ. Just hearing that philosophy from Ed Weber at Electra got me even more excited.  Babylon will be more than a dance club: it will be an experience each and every time you visit.  Expect the unexpected.  Finally a place that is in the middle of it all, only a 10 minute drive from Silverlake and 5 minutes from West Hollywood.  A place where there can be 500 dancing or 2500!  You won't really believe it until you see it for yourself.

This will be a monthly meeting ground where men from all over Los Angeles and the surrounding communities can come dance and sit under the stars in one of the top floor cabanas.  The choice is yours and you decide where to go and what to do at Babylon.  It is more than amazing.  I was there for 4 hours and paid only $6 for parking (you can get validated for a discount when you purchase drinks).  The doors to Babylon will open at 6pm and admission is $15 until 7:30pm after which time it is $20 and well worth it.  Any spot on the dance floor sounds like you are surrounded by speakers.

Mark January 27th on your calendar, and if you're like me, you'll be counting down the days.  Call 323-650-1512 or www.electraentertainment.com for more info.

The extraordinary sounds of Barry Harris, one of two incredibly talented producers of Thunderpuss 2000, can be experienced at Babylon.  Barry has remixed for such artist as Whitney Houston, Madonna, Debra Cox, Jennifer Holiday, Christine Aguilera, Pepper Marshay, you know the song!
