Eleven Restaurant and Nightclub

West Hollywood's newest Restaurant and Nightclub Opens and promises to be a stellar experience for diners and clubbers alike

Eleven, formerly home to Larrabee Sound Studios, where recording giants such as Donna Summers, Prince, Madonna and Patti LaBelle recorded many of their hits has opened its doors to the public.

The bar will be open Friday, February 9th and Saturday, February 10th at 5PM and the restaurant will begin serving dinner Monday, February 12th. Lunch service will begin Tuesday, February 23rd.

Eleven, located at 8811 Santa Monica Blvd., directly across from East / West Lounge, breaks new ground for dining and entertainment in L.A. Managing partner and innovative entrepreneur Richard Grossi has brought together an extraordinary cast including General Manager Gary Gotcher, formerly of Patina. Grossi states, “From the moment you get out of your car, every detail at ELEVEN will delight and surprise.” The owners are committed to achieving unprecedented service standards, or as Grossi puts it, “Our guests will be treated like Hollywood royalty.”

The exterior is being restored to its original condition, right down to every vintage detail. Inside, the owners are creating a bold, dramatic environment for ELEVEN, while salvaging some original design elements. The building was originally "The First National Bank of Sherman", built in 1922.

Guests enter beneath the main stage, into an area dominated by a dramatic island bar in the center of the room, faced with a beautiful glass mosaic. A powerful and sophisticated sound system further enhances this unique experience. A stunning water feature—in which flames are magically encapsulated in spheres of water—is being created by WET Design, the company responsible for the fountains at Las Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel. An expansive patio, buffered from bustling Santa Monica Boulevard by a 40-inch-high planter wall, will accommodate lunching designers, artists and entertainment industry executives, but is converted into lounge seating as ELEVEN begins its nightly transition—at 11:00 p.m., of course—into one of L.A.’s hottest night scenes. Even ELEVEN’s co-ed restroom is a work of art, filled with incredible mosaics, high-tech lighting and cutting-edge fixtures. WET Design and other notable companies are using ELEVEN to showcase their latest, most extraordinary products.

A wood-and-glass staircase leads to the mezzanine dining room and bar (private dining areas are separated by a see-through fireplace and retractable glass wall), which provides a stunning backdrop to the acclaimed contemporary cuisine of Executive Chef Vincent Manna, who honed his skills at Spago, L’Orangerie and Mélisse. The menu will include starters such as the Tempura Coconut-Crusted Scallops with Asian Slaw, Mango, Jicama, Crispy Wontons and Orange-Chili Vinaigrette ($18); while entrées feature Crispy Black Bass with Steamed Lemongrass-Jasmine Rice, Chinese Broccoli and Garlic-Chili Ponzu ($32); Grilled Rib-Eye with Truffle-Potato Purée, Caramelized Maui Onions, Glazed Baby Carrots and Five Peppercorn-Red Wine Jus ($36). The bar will serve an array of classic and inventive cocktails as well as non-alcoholic drinks, offering something for everyone.

Legendary Producer and ELEVEN partner, Sid Krofft has assembled a stellar team of renowned specialists in entertainment production who complete the cast of ELEVEN. At eleven o’clock in the evening, ELEVEN’s personality transforms as music, lights and sound effortlessly come together, and what was once a restaurant evolves into a hip nightclub.

Dynamic bursts of entertainment will occur throughout the evening. Directed and choreographed by Emmy-nominated Entertainment Director Doriana Sanchez (Cher- Farewell Tour, Shakira and most recently, resident Choreographer on Fox’s smash hit “So You Think You Can Dance”). Four Time Emmy Winning Set Designer Jeremy Railton and award winning theatrical Lighting Designer Marilyn Lowey complete the team. As Grossi explains, “Our goal is to create such a comfortable and sexy place that people won’t want to leave.”
